Ramsey Named SWAC Co-Hitter of the Week

Alabama State University's Brooke Ramsey was selected as the SWAC Co-Hitter of the Week released by the league office on Wednesday.

Ramsey hit .667, going 6-for-9 at the plate with a home run and eight RBI in a series sweep of Mississippi Valley State last weekend. Click here for post.

During the 2020 Fall Classic National Showcase, Alabama Elite 16U Black received a berth to the 16U Gold Nationals in Salem, VA for summer July 2021. Brooke Ramsey was recognized as a standout player for the 16U division. Click here for comments.

After a stellar season, Brooke receives the 2019 District 7-AAA NewComer of the Year Award. This award was voted upon by all coaches in district 7-AAA. She was very excited and humbled by the selection.

Brooke Ramsey Returns to Alabama

After the break up of her beloved Sparks Elite 04, Brooke returns to the coach that has taught her the game better than any other. Maxie Pooler founded the Alabama Elite Fastpitch Organization to be a premier fastpitch organization that truly cares for the building of athletes physically, mentally and spiritually, With over 30 years for experience he is considered to be one of the top coaches in the southeast.

Ramsey Receives USSSA Select 30 Honor

Chosen by USSSA and her Coach Maxie Pooler as an outstanding and dedicated player. She participated in the 2019 Select 30 Training Camp at USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. Brooke was selected as the catcher for the 2022 class. She was very honored and humbled for this honor.
